WHO WE ARE

From Exporter to India's Crop-Specific Substrate Brand

Kultyv is a brand of Gromax Exports — a coco peat substrate manufacturer established in 2020, based in Tiruchengode, Tamil Nadu. Located at the heart of India’s coconut coir belt, Gromax Exports built its foundation supplying quality substrates and growbags to international markets, working with global buyers who demanded consistent, tested product at scale.

In 2024, Kultyv was created with a focused purpose — to bring that same export-grade quality and consistency to commercial hydroponic farmers across India. The Indian hydroponic market was growing rapidly, but growers were largely dependent on generic, untested coco peat with no crop-specific formulation. Kultyv was built to change that.

Today, Kultyv manufactures crop-specific coco peat substrate blends — AquaHold, RootPrime, DrainPro and AirMax — each engineered for a different AFP and WHC profile matched to the root zone needs of specific crops. Every block is triple washed, batch tested for EC, pH, AFP and WHC, and dispatched with the consistency that commercial farming demands.

Manufactured at the Heart of India's Coir Belt

Kultyv substrates are manufactured across two facilities — Tiruchengode and Negamam, Tamil Nadu — positioned at the centre of India’s coconut coir production region. Proximity to raw material supply ensures consistent quality from the first step of production.

Our manufacturing capacity of 1,000 metric tonnes per month supports both commercial domestic supply and export-scale requirements. Vertical and horizontal compression machinery across both facilities allows us to produce the full range of block formats — from standard 5 kg compressed blocks to custom specifications for specific farm requirements.

Substrate production begins with careful raw material procurement — selecting coconut coir fibre and husk chips from trusted sources within the region. From raw material to finished, dispatched product, every batch passes through Kultyv’s three-stage quality control process.

3-Stage Quality Control — From Raw Material to Your Farm

Every batch of Kultyv substrate is quality checked at three critical points before it reaches your farm.

Stage 1

Raw Material QC

Incoming coir peat and husk chips are inspected and tested at the procurement stage. Only material meeting Kultyv’s raw material specification is accepted into production.
Stage 2

In-Process QC

During washing, blending and compression, substrate batches are monitored for EC, pH and physical consistency. Blend ratios are verified at this stage to ensure the correct AFP and WHC profile is achieved.
Stage 2

Pre-Dispatch QC

Before any batch leaves the facility, final EC, pH, AFP and WHC parameters are tested and verified against Kultyv’s specification. Only batches meeting the full specification are approved for dispatch.

Why Commercial Hydroponic Farmers Choose Kultyv

Export-Grade Quality for Indian Farms

Gromax Exports built its reputation supplying quality substrates to international buyers. That same export-grade consistency — triple washed, batch tested, specification-verified — is now available to commercial hydroponic farmers across India through Kultyv.

Crop-Specific — Not Generic

Kultyv does not sell one product for all crops. Every blend is formulated for a specific AFP and WHC profile matched to the root zone needs of a particular crop type. AquaHold, RootPrime, DrainPro and AirMax — each built for a purpose.

Direct from Manufacturer

No distributors, no middlemen. Kultyv manufactures and supplies directly — ensuring consistent product quality, competitive pricing, reliable supply continuity, and the ability to handle custom requirements for commercial farm volumes.
